OverView
Mai Alfawair was born in Amman, Jordan in 1983. She received the B.E. degree in Software Engineering from AlBalqa Applied University, Jordan in 2006, and the MPhil and Ph.D. degrees in software engineering from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

In 2010, she joined the Department of Software Engineering in the Faculty of Information Technology at AlZaytoonah University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan as an Assistant Professor. In 2012, she joined the Department of Software Engineering in Prince Abdullah bin Ghazi Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at AlBalqa Applied University in Alsalt, Jordan, as a Lecturer. She became an Assistant Professor at the same university in 2016. In 2019 till 2020, she had been the head of Software Engineering Department in Prince Abdullah bin Ghazi Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, AlBalqa Applied University.
